I have been in the fitness industry for 11 years and learned many things about people. One is, if a person does not see results with their exercise program in the first few months, they will get very discouraged and probably give up. Therefore, you need to make sure you get started off headed in the right direction.
Whether you are trying to lose body fat and get toned (like 99% of the people) or trying to gain muscle without losing any weight, NUTRITION IS THE KEY. But, you must also commit to a good exercise program. The nutrition/exercise program at Island Sun Fitness is not designed to make you just lose weight (like most diet programs). But rather to make you lose weight and be healthy, which gives you a better chance to keep it off. Our #1 goal is for you to get the results you want by educating you on how to eat and exercise. Therefore we have several experienced trainers available to help you achieve your goals.
As a new member of Island Sun Fitness you will receive the following for FREE:
1: Nutrition DVD and booklet explaining our nutrition program. This program will teach you how to eat in order to lose body fat and maintain lean muscle.
2: We will have a trainer take you through a basic workout to get you started and fill out a workout sheet for you to go by. If you want this, you must call to set up an appointment.

Option 1: COMPLETE 12 WEEK PROGRAM WITH A PERSONAL TRAINER
This program is strongly recommended for anyone who has little or no knowledge of nutrition and/or weight resistance exercises.
We will set you up with a personal trainer for 12 weeks. The program includes:
• Nutrition DVD and booklet explaining our nutrition program
• At least 1 session each week with a personal trainer. They will take you through a workout and tell you exactly what to do each time you walk in the gym. Each session will last as long as needed.
• Open line of communication with your trainer through e-mail or phone
• Your trainer will measure you, weigh you, tell you what to eat, how to eat, when to eat, provide supplement information, design a workout for you, change your workouts as needed, encourage you, push you, and hold you accountable. You will be asked to write down everything you eat daily, so your trainer can make adjustments as necessary. If you will follow the instructions of your trainer, you will feel and look better than you ever have in just 12 weeks.

Option 4: (women only) PURCHASE A 12 WEEK BODY TRANSFORMATION PACKAGE
Included in this package are:
1) Nutrition dvd and booklet explaining our complete nutrition program
2) Set of 4 workout dvd’s consisting of 9 full body workouts and 3 ab routines. Each exercise is explained and demonstrated.
3) A day by day exercise and nutrition plan. This plan will give you exactly what to eat and which exercise routine to do each day for 12 weeks. If you will follow this plan, I guarantee you will get tremendous results.
I strongly suggest the 12 week program with the personal trainer because of the difference in results. It takes a while for you to get in good physical condition so you can really burn some calories. Also, your body has to adjust to the new way of eating. It is during the last four weeks that you really see some major changes, because now your body is ready to really start burning some fat.
At the end of the 8 or 12 week program, you will know how to eat. You will also have access to all of your workout sheets you did during the program. At that point you can choose to continue paying for a trainer, or you can use the extensive amount of information you have learned and continue on your own.
